FEES FOR THE CSEP AND CSRP DESIGNATION PROGRAMS
Application Fee : must be paid by all candidates upon entering a program
- Regular fee -- $350 per applicant, per program
- Discounted fee -- $300 per applicant, per program. Available to applicants who have purchased or are planning to purchase the full CSEP or CSRP package of self-study courses. To obtain the discount, program application and purchase of self-study materials must take place within thirty days of each other, in any order.
Course Fees : for each designation candidate, all courses must either be purchased in a self-study format or taken in a live seminar format. Total course fees vary greatly depending on the method of purchase chosen by each candidate. The options for purchase are outlined below:
CSEP or CSRP Self-Study Package (best value)
Includes : all core courses and two electives for either of the programs. Also includes a CPE exam (for CPE credit for CPAs) for each course. Elective courses must be chosen at the time of purchase.
Deadline : 18 months from date of purchase for completion of all designation exams and CPE exams (if needed).
Price : $479 for online download format; $499 for CD-ROM + online download. Optional textbooks: $15 each with purchase of a package.

Re-Test Fees:There is no fee for the first attempt at any exam in the CSEP or CSRP designation program. However, if the required score of 70% is not attained on any test, a new serial number must be obtained and a new test taken. The fee for any re-test is $30.
Renewal Fee: Once a designation has been attained, it must be renewed each year, with payment due by January 31 (continuing education must be submitted every two years). The renewal fee is $75.00 per year for each designation held.
